The Old Dairy is a beautiful converted barn in the Wiltshire countryside that sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. Sitting in gorgeous grounds with winding brooks, a beautiful mill pond and a charming patio garden, this home is ideal for groups of friends or families looking for a relaxing stay in a peaceful setting. And with an open fireplace, underfloor heating and grand high ceilings, you can settle in for an indulgent break in a real home away from home.
You and your loved ones can socialise in the spacious living room, which features two big comfy leather sofas where you can settle in with a drink in the evening. The room is oozing with rural charm, thanks to its exposed beams and feature fireplace and giant patio doors flood the lounge with natural light and open up onto the pretty courtyard garden. The living room also houses the dining table, which has enough space for your whole group, making meal times a breeze.
Speaking of mealtimes, the Dairy’s kitchen is spacious and stylish with an exposed stone wall and it’s nicely kitted out with plenty of modern amenities. There’s also a spacious kitchen island where you can perch with a drink as the designated chef whips up a feast. Off the kitchen is a boot room with a washing machine and separate toilet for added convenience.
Stepping outside, The Old Dairy sits near a charming mill pond where you can go for a peaceful stroll among nature. There’s also a nice patio garden with alfresco dining furniture, offering an ideal spot to enjoy a tasty meal in the summer sunshine. The setting is beautiful and quiet and you are completely surrounded by fields, hidden within the landscape where you escape the noise and distraction.
When night rolls around, The Old Dairy has three lovely bedrooms that offer a great night’s sleep. The first bedroom features two single beds, the second bedroom has a double and the master bedroom has a super-king size bed with an ensuite bathroom for added privacy. Each bedroom has a door opening into the patio, so you will all have direct access to the fresh air in the morning. There’s also a family bathroom with a grand, oversized shower.
When it comes to filling your days, the home sits in a fantastic location in the Wiltshire countryside. You’re close to the historic cities of Bath and Salisbury and near the marvellous scenery of Cheddar Gorge. You’re also a short drive from Stonehenge, Longleat, Center Parcs and Castle Combe.
If you wish to venture out on foot there are lots of great walking routes from your doorstep, so be sure to bring your walking boots.
