• There is parking in the driveway for a maximum of 4 cars.
• The property only sleeps a maximum of 6 adults, no more than 6 adults can be booked in here. The other beds are for 5 children and a baby.
• The Old Dairy offers a 20% discount for smaller parties, and will shut off the master bedroom, so you would have use of 4 bedrooms.

The detail

The Old Dairy is the perfect place for a family (or two) to relax and spend time together. With its prime village location it offers peace and quiet within walking distance of a couple of lovely pubs. With elegant interiors, manicured gardens and an alluring swimming pool - this beautiful stone house is a quintessentially English affair, and with three sitting rooms designed with both adults and children in mind, there’s more than enough room for everyone to relax in perfect harmony.

The attention lavished on the interiors hits you as soon as you walk into the stunning hallway with its vaulted ceiling, stone floor and delightfully different monochrome rug. The house has three gorgeous sitting rooms to choose from: an adults' lounge room with stunning stone fireplace and television, a drawing room and a children’s TV room complete with football table. All of the rooms exude opulence, with velvet sofas, plush textiles and warm wooden floors. With each room as individual and alluring as the next - you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Head through to the dazzlingly high-spec kitchen with its gleaming marble worktops, feature fireplace and five-ring hob. It’s a cook’s delight with all the pots and pans you could ever need - and the thoughtful owners have provided all the pantry essentials along with a generous welcome pack (there’s even something fizzy for you to pop on arrival). From the coffee machine to the children’s plates and cutlery, everyone is well and truly catered for.

Leading off from the kitchen is a striking dining room with a large window and beautiful stone floor. The room is elegantly decorated in muted green and grey tones - and the large chunky table can easily seat ten. And there’s even a Stokke highchair for any younger guests.

Five bedrooms sleep up to 12 people (six adults and six children). There are three double rooms (one being a twin), a children’s bunk room (with additional pull out trundle) and single bedroom with additional full size cot bed. The rooms are all super-stylish with an array of features from distressed beams to designer wallpaper. The master bedroom is glorious with a super-king bed, ensuite bathroom (with a roll-top bath), dressing room and heated flooring. The second double boasts a spectacular cathedral ceiling, exquisite roll top bath and double sink. Whilst the twin room has luxurious velvet beds, crisp polka-dot linen and striking wallpaper. And the children’s bunk room is simply delightful with its PaperBoy dinosaur print on the walls, pretty window seats and a selection of toys.

The large family bathroom is perfectly presented with its pale grey wallpaper making a fabulous backdrop to the striking orange roll-top bath. And of course luxe toiletries, fluffy towels and robes are a given.

Outside is no less tasteful, with beautifully manicured gardens surrounding the property. In the front there is a climbing frame and trampoline for the children to play on. Head round further to discover the private walled garden complete with a swimming pool, elegant dining area, BBQ and sun beds - all you could possibly need for the perfect English retreat.

Located on a peaceful road in the centre of Bloxham village you are perfectly placed to explore the area. With Broughton Castle, Cotswolds Wildlife Park and even a brewery nearby, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And you’re just three miles from the historic market town of Banbury and 40 minutes from the university city of Oxford with its impressive architecture, fabulous pubs and vibrant riverside.
