Just on the southern fringes of the New Forest National Park, and barely a hop and a skip from the waters of the English Channel, is The Hut at Lymore Forest. A gorgeously decorated shepherds hut, this glamping gem sits tucked away in its own private woodland area, making it the ideal setting for couples wishing to get away from the distractions of urban life and get lost in each other’s company. Come, get lost, and see for yourself.
Although small in size, The Hut is big on comfort. The interior has been lovingly designed by the owners in a beautiful industrial manner, with the colour scheme exuding a warm and welcoming air. You are sure to feel right at home. The middle living area houses a couch and cozy wood burner, the bathroom has its own walk-in shower, while the sleeping area has a luxurious king size bed. You will also have your very own kitchen area to prepare your meals, but if you are feeling lazy why not inquire about the in-house chef? Step outside and you will be in your own little slice of woodland heaven, complete with lots of space and outdoor seating, perfect for some al fresco dining or late-night drinks under the stars. You can while away your evening in the jacuzzi hot tub, enjoying your own little piece of luxury in the woods.
The Hut sits just to the south of the New Forest National Park. Home to various flora and fauna (include wild horses), the New Forest is a special area of conservation and is one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pastureland, heathland, and forest in Southern England. Known for its beautiful scenery and various walking trails, this beautiful part of the world is a nature lover's paradise. Less than a 10-minute drive from the Hut is the port town of Lymington, where one can visit the bustling traditional Georgian market on a Saturday morning. For the history buff, the medieval military fort of Hurst Castle is an hour walk to the south along the Hurst Spit. The beach at Milford on Sea is worth a visit for sure, or you can hop on a ferry for a visit to the beautiful Isle of Wight.
