Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
The Hudnalls Hideout Treehouse is owned and managed by Sarah Orchard.
Hidden in the woods in the spectacular Wye Valley, The Hudnalls Hideout is a luxurious treehouse for couples. Beautifully blending into the natural surroundings, the treehouse is set in two acres of private wood and bordering the ancient Hudnalls woodland. The Hideout’s guests have exclusive use of the two acres to create a magical, secluded experience where you can really reconnect with nature. The beautiful interior has been designed in partnership with MADE.COM to create a stylish yet cosy space that helps you switch off and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This adults-only treehouse is a little off the beaten track and is accessed via a stroll across the wildflower meadow and down a charming woodland track. You’ll be sharing the woods with the native deer, owls and badgers but no other humans are in sight. Step inside and you’ll find a spacious interior on two levels. Downstairs, you’ll find the living space with the exposed wooden beams of the treehouse creating a cosy atmosphere. There are also large glass doors leading straight out onto the balcony. The suspended bioethanol Cocoon Aeris fireplace and underfloor heating will keep you snug whatever the weather.
There’s a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, induction hob and a Nespresso machine and you can order from the local shop and deli which will be ready and waiting for you on arrival. If you’re feeling adventurous, try cooking with fire on the traditional fire pit. Or a private chef can be hired to take care of things for you.
The luxurious bathroom features a double rainfall shower and outside you’ll find a beautiful copper bathtub for two where you can soak while enjoying the view. Climb the hand-carved staircase to the upper level to find the loft bed and a full-height window which looks out over the treetop. Lie back and do a bit of stargazing in the evening or watch the sunrise from the comfort of your pillow.
During the day, explore the surrounding woodlands and see if you can spot any of the local wildlife. There are plenty of opportunities for a scenic walk via one of the local pubs and there are many artisan food and drink producers in the area with delis, restaurants and food festivals throughout the year.
Gin tasting, wild swimming, foraging, nature safaris, flotation therapy (Float in the Forest), picnics in our wild flower meadow, segways, high-wire adventures, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, gorge scrambling, artisan food and drink/delis

Leave a reviewMy husband and I stayed here for the long Bank Holiday weekend, and thought it positively sublime!! Walking trails to join out the front door, comfy bed with gigantic windows overlooking the birds at feed, lovely arrangement and tons of thoughtful details and provision, plus very friendly communication when I had questions about the area. Absolutely brilliant! No wifi, stunning area of countryside to explore, huge windows overlooking the woods and wildlife, a wrap-around deck on which to enjoy coffee and a book, lovely sounds all around - it was honestly the perfect solution to drop everything and enjoy nature and each other. x
