Set on Rowley Farm, a family run farmstead of over 50-acres, The Hideaway Hut is a newly built shepherd's hut that gives guests an authentic rustic experience, with a healthy smattering of luxury thrown in. Besides providing all the mod-cons necessary for the perfect self-catering stay, it also offers a fantastic base from which to explore Worcestershire, and the greater East-Midlands area. Sleeping up to two guests, this is a couple's retreat that effortlessly mixes style, comfort, and homespun charm.
The hut has been custom built with the finest materials to the highest of standards. The décor is a seamless blend of modern and rustic, while there is underfloor heating throughout. Upon entering through the floor-to-ceiling patio doors, you will be greeted by a luxurious king size bed, with a flat screen TV mounted in the top corner of the room. Beside the bed is the comfy velvet sofa, offering the perfect spot from which to relax in front of the cosy wood burning stove. The kitchen comes well equipped, with a gas cooker, hob, and a fridge and there is a separate wet room with a shower, basin, and WC. Step outside the hut and onto your own private patio and garden area. Here, you can survey the farmyard views, dine at the outdoor furniture, or even relax in your own woodfired hot tub.
The Worcestershire countryside offers nature-lovers numerous walking and cycling trails, while the region has several activities to partake in. Whether it's a visit to Piston Gin School, Land Rover off-roading, or catching a rugby match at Worcester Warriors or a cricket game at Worcestershire County Cricket, there is something for everyone. If stately homes and gardens are of interest, then you're in luck. There are several all within a short drive of Rowley Farm, including Witley Court ruins (3 miles), Handbury Hall, Spetchley Gardens (both 11 miles), Croome Court (16 miles), and Eastnor Castle (23 miles). The historic cathedral city of Worcester is less than a 30-minute drive to the south, while the metropolis of Birmingham - known for its thriving grassroots art, music, literary, nightlife, and culinary scenes - is less than an hour to the north.
