The lodge contains a fully functional kitchen, meaning that whether you’re the type of walker who makes a quick cup of coffee before dashing out of the door or a more sedate holidaymaker who enjoys a full English breakfast before strolling out of the gate, you won’t be disappointed.
A raised deck is a dreamy place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening, while there is ample soft furniture inside. A kitchen table for two is found in the main space, which feels light and airy throughout the day. In the separate bedroom, you’ll find a brand new Hypnos King-sized bed, while the shower cabin is a real treat at the end of long day of exploring the hills and pubs of the surrounding area.
The Hedgerow has it’s own entrance, parking (off street) and complimentary use of “Alice” a 1950’s vintage English Eccles Caravan, offering another comfy, quirky place to spend some time. And, in the Summer months guests can also help themselves to home grown lettuce, tomatoes, radish and cucumber to make a freshly picked salad
The Hedgerow is perfectly position for a number of walking trails, as you’d expect, but it is worth noting the cluster of nearby towns and villages. From a day trip to historic Blenheim with its various culturally fascinating attractions, to the endlessly entertaining Oxford, you really are well placed to take in the finest in food, art, shopping and architecture that this region has to offer. As well as Bicester Village for shopping and three National Trust maintained stately homes and gardens, the nearby area is packed with all-year-round activities guaranteed to fascinate guests of all ages.
Throughout the year, there is also the world famous Garsington Opera, the Henley Royal Regatta, and the Blenheim Horse Trials. The Chilterns have also long been considered a paradise for outdoors enthusiasts, so whether your chosen activity is mountain biking, running, cycling or bird watching, you’re sure to be delighted by what’s on offer just a short distance from this charming timber lodge.

We LOVED this place. Absolutely cannot fault it. The owners were brilliant, incredibly helpful! And the accommodation was just perfect. So many lovely walks and drives out with lots to do and see in the countryside. A really great relaxing break away from London. One of our favourite places we've ever stayed. Shower was lots of fun and the extra touches meant so much to us. THANK YOU XXX
