This former cow byre has been beautifully converted into a luxurious one bedroom apartment within the grounds of this fabulous Lakelands farm. Nestled in the heart of The Lake District National Park means that you are surrounded by stunning views in every direction. With a high-end finish and impeccable attention to detail, it’s the perfect romantic escape. Add to this a stunning location within easy walking distance of a great pub and the picturesque village of Grasmere, this wonderful property really does tick all the boxes.
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is light and airy in summer and wonderfully cosy in winter. With a snug corner sofa, wall mounted LED 4k flatscreen TV and a lovely wood burning stove, it’s a great space to nestle down and relax. And with a Bluray DVD player, SONOS music system and Wifi throughout it offers up all the mod cons.
The contemporary kitchen delivers too - with an oven, induction hob microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer it’s incredibly well appointed. And you can choose to dine inside next to the wood burning stove or outside on your private terrace.
The double bedroom has a wonderfully large king size bed, soft white linen and sumptuous textiles that add a lovely splash of colour and texture. From here you can head into the beautiful ensuite bathroom - it’s a wonderfully sleek affair with a large bath and separate shower. And fluffy white towels come as standard.
Outside you get a private terrace area that takes in wonderful views over Dunmail Raise, Steel Fell and Helm Crag. With an intimate dining and BBQ area it’s a great place to watch the sun go down.
Located on a picture perfect farm that sits in a sunny elevated position right in the heart of the Lake District, you couldn’t ask for a more perfect setting. Enjoy a plethora of walks from the door - from hill walks to more leisurely strolls to the local pub 400m away, there’s something for every level. For adventures further afield, you’re excellently positioned between the delightful Lakeland towns of Windermere and Keswick which both offer everything from lake cruises to fine dining.
