You will also be ideally situated just a short walk from Lake Windermere, and a couple of miles from the town Ambleside. This property offers contemporary fixtures, a cosy wood burning stove, stunning views of the surrounding countryside, and its own private hot tub.
Upon entering the house, you will step into the open planned living area. This gorgeous space sits beneath vaulted, timber framed ceilings and offers the perfect relaxation spot – especially for those colder evenings. A comfy two-person couch sits opposite the flat screen TV (with PS4) and a cosy wood burning stove to ensure you remain toasty all year round.
The adjacent kitchen area offers modern appliances and has ample workspace. It is equipped with all necessary mod cons for cooking up a gourmet meal, and for the coffee lovers, there is even a Nespresso machine. You will also find a little dining table for two, the ideal spot for a romantic evening meal. Descend the living room's open staircase and you will find the bedroom, complete with a plush king size bed that guarantee's a comfy night's sleep. The ensuite features a WC, basin, and double cubicle walk-in shower for added convenience. Outside, the garden features a spacious, elevated decking area with sumptuous views of the surrounding countryside which can be enjoyed from the outdoor furniture or from the comfort of your own hot tub. Guests will love sharing an evening drink here, or enjoying a soak in the tub after a day out wandering the picturesque Lake District.

This storybook mountainous region is replete with walks, cycle routes, and climbs to enjoy. Fox Corner sits just a stone's throw from Windermere, England's largest natural lake. The lake has long been a thriving holiday destination, and in the summer months one can catch a ferry to the numerous settlements on its banks. The towns of Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere, while basically adjoined, are separate towns, both of which are thriving tourist hotspots, with cafés, bars, restaurants, and independent shops. Closer to home, the charming town of Ambleside is just a few miles north of Fox Corner and is also worth a visit.
