Bask in the Isle of Skye’s tranquil natural beauty with a stay at this cosy, rural cottage on the southeast of the peninsula. Overlooking the sandy shores of Knock Bay and the serene Sound of Sleat waters, it has a mesmerising spot in a truly stunning location. Wild pastoral scenery is joined by lush rolling hills while ever-changing skies reflect in the glistening sea. With breath-taking views and a traditional cottage-feel, this idyllic Sleat house has everything you need.

Skye White House is an historic, white-washed cottage that has a picture-perfect exterior and a flourishing garden. Colourful flowers adorn the sloping lawn, while a pretty garden bench has views to die for. Enjoy star-studded skies or sunlit greens from your own luxury retreat amongst the unspoilt coastal scenes.

Inside, the stone cottage has been lovingly restored and has a contemporary elegance with charming, original features. The comfortable living room looks out over the captivating views, and has an antique leather armchair sitting beside a hearty, wood-burning stove. A neutral colour scheme gives it a sophisticated edge and lets the rich colours of the outdoors glisten throughout. A separate dining room also has a homely finish, with a solid oak dining table and a sumptuous chair. The country-style kitchen is hidden at the back of the house and has modern appliances with rustic wooden worktops.

Two lovely bedrooms can be found nestled inside, with room for up to four people to relax and unwind. The master double bedroom has a designer mattress, with super-soft furnishings and thoughtful little trinkets. With sloped panelled ceilings and views over the bay, it is an intimate space that has a calm and soothing atmosphere. The second twin room is equally luxurious and has vintage wood clad walls with a crisp white finish. Large windows offer exclusive views over the landscape and make this an indulgent room that you’ll always remember.

The Isle of Skye is renowned for its exquisite natural splendour and has been recognised as one of the most beautiful islands in the world. With inspirational walks, hikes and sailing opportunities, you can head out on a blissful voyage of discovery. Sleepy towns and local village pubs can also be found nearby along with award-winning restaurants and the famous Talisker distillery.
