The detail

Set in its own bright and vibrant gardens, Sexton's Place is a substantial country home with sleeping space for up to six guests between three comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Refurbished to bring the comforts of the twenty first century into this historically beautiful building, Sexton's Place is a popular holiday property for families and friend groups alike, with easy proximity to a range of popular spots, including the famous coast.

The ground floor has been subtly decorated with neutral, coastal hues, and is flooded with natural light from the multiple windows. Most parties tend to congregate in front of the wood-burning stove in the sitting room, or snuggle up on the large sofa in front of the Smart TV, although there are also plenty of board games for all ages. The kitchen-cum-dining space is arranged with an open place design, and boasts a second Smart TV and ample seating. You'll also find all of the appliances and work surfaces that even the most ambitious cooks require to prepare a slap up meals for a group of hungry holidaymakers. Off this space, a utility room and cloakroom can be found.

Up the stairs, all three bedrooms enjoy views out over the courtyard, and the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with both roll-top bath and walk-in shower, as well as a king sized bed. The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom, complete with a shower over the bath, and are set up with full sized twin singles and a double bed respectively.

Outside, there are a number of sunny and shady spaces to sit with a book, a picnic, or just a friend and relative, as well as a full outdoor seating and dining set. There really is nothing nicer in the summer months than coming home from a long day on the beach and enjoying the last of the day together outside, watching the sunset and preparing a delicious family meal over the Weber barbecue.

The property is located in the small village of Docking, which offers everything you need for a charming trip, all within a picturesque Norfolk village with historic architecture. Docking Fish Bar is a great fish and chip shop, easily reachable via a five minute walk from the house, and the pizza van outside the Ripper Hall on Monday nights is great for pizza. Be sure to pop by the hall on Wednesdays for the famers market, with its stalls offering fantastic bread, produce, meats and cheeses. Docking also has a fantastic park with facilities for tennis, cricket, bowls, football and basketball, as well as slides and a children's playground.
