Padre Aviles is a collection of 17th century traditional Andalucian apartments set within 180 acres of delightful olive and almond groves. Situated in the hills of Andalucia, in a wonderfully remote and secluded location - but with the beach only a 10 minute drive away – this development is perfect for a fantastic self-contained holiday for a group of friends or a large family.
Each apartment at Padre Aviles is individual in its own right, all varying in size, but all are wonderfully spacious and airy, and retain original characteristics of the property. Open-faced stone walls and archways remind you of what the property once was, whilst creating a cool ambience in the summer months. Terracotta tile flooring runs throughout, and perfectly complements the natural wooden furniture and white soft furnishings.
Hand crafted wooden and iron wrought beds are featured in each bedroom, with fresh, white bedding and nautical touches that accentuate the feeling of being away from it all. Plus, all provide an wonderful sea view
The kitchen area is modern and spacious, whilst the large living areas are perfect for sinking into and enjoying a glass or two at night. Each property also includes a TV and DVD/CD player if you fancy some entertainment, or just some respite from the heat.
There are two large child-friendly swimming pools, one attached to the old convent (two apartments) and one for use of those staying in the converted stables (five apartments). You also have use of two tennis courts, a table tennis table, and play area with plenty of equipment to keep any children entertained.
The beach is just 10 minutes away by car from Padre Aviles , boasting a 15km long promenade lined with restaurants serving local delicacies that are sure to tantalise your taste buds, whilst the centre of Malaga is 30 minutes away if you fancy a day of culture and shopping. The beautiful Montes de Malaga national park is also close by, but don’t miss out on the many local walking trails around your own estate for fantastic views.
