Glamorous boutique penthouse in the centre of vibrant Cardiff.
This luxurious penthouse apartment is bursting with quirky designer furniture, boutique decor and unique touches which make it an elegant, eclectic place to enjoy a city stay in exciting Cardiff. Spanning the top two floors of this modern, discreet, city centre building, it boasts spectacular views over the Principality Stadium, home to Welsh Rugby and many international live events.
The top floor is a sumptuous space thoughtfully styled with a multitude of vibrant fabrics and textures. Walls are covered in framed prints and illuminated by designer lighting. The dining area, with its wood panelled walls and large bar, resembles a private members club, and there is even a cosy snug with a velvet chaise lounge, sheepskin throws and a pool table.
In the sitting area, guests can unwind after dinner on the magnificent double corner sofa which has space for all. Relax into its soft cushions and catch the game on the twin flat screen televisions, this set-up is ideal for sports fans who can enjoy a match from every angle and not miss a catch, throw, kick or run. During the daytime, light floods in through the floor-to-ceiling windows which can be pulled back for access to the lovely terrace resplendent with its resident Dalek. In the evening, wander outside, drink in hand, and take in the sparkle of the city lights at night.
There are four unique bedrooms in the lower floor of the apartment. Head down the wooden steps and linger on the stairway while spotting the stars featured in the portrait gallery made up of black and white photos of faces from the sixties and seventies. Each bedroom is individually furnished with its own theme. Romantic Viaggio has a four poster double bed with white linens and relaxing decor. Senza has a much more adult vibe with its dark hues, mirrors and sunken super king-sized bed. The pretty Dolce room is for fans of floral touches and Semplice boasts a super king-sized bed with faux fur throw and large leather headboard. Each room has its own walk-in shower and access to a private terrace, as well as more views over the stadium.
The apartment is wonderfully located for guests visiting the famous stadium, and positioned just a short walk from the city's best restaurants, shops and nightlife. The Cardiff restaurant scene is renowned for making the most of Welsh produce and there are some cracking places to enjoy the local food experience. Try Park House, which uses Welsh ingredients with a French touch, or The Potted Pig which is housed in a former bank vault. Or head to The Classroom, where all the food is cooked by local students, and diners can enjoy meals prepared by the culinary stars of the future.
