Learn moreEscape to rural Norfolk at Mill Hill, a barn conversion situated on a 500 acre working farm near the charming village of Tittleshall. Whether it's exploring the coast, heading into Norwich, or simply kicking back and relaxing, this is the perfect escape.
Mill Hill consists of the original grain barn, which has now been combined with two loose boxes for working horses to create a spacious holiday home sleeping eight guests. This really is the ideal spot for a family get together or a trip away with friends.
Those staying first come into the spacious entrance hall, complete with Norfolk pamment; a traditional flooring in the county. There is a downstairs cloakroom and reading room, with its selection of books and games and floor-to-ceiling windows allowing light to flood in. This leads to the sitting room with cosy wood burning stove and access to the private terrace. The open plan, well equipped kitchen has lime washed oak floorboards and exposed timber beams, as well as a range cooker, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a table seating 8 people and further access to the terrace to bring the outside in. A utility room houses the American style fridge/freezer and washer/dryer and there is underfloor heating throughout.
The first of the four bedrooms is on the ground floor and has a super king bed - which can be configured as a twin if preferred - and en-suite wet room with rainforest shower. The other three super king bedrooms are on the first floor, one of which can also be turned into a twin if preferred. Bedroom two also comes complete with an en-suite shower room, while the others share a bathroom with separate shower.
Outside there are two terraces with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as a gravelled courtyard and parking for up to four cars. Despite its rural location the stunning North Norfolk coastline is just a short drive away. Alternatively the city of Norwich with its array of pubs, shops, and restaurants, and the popular Burnham Market are also nearby. Or why not simply enjoy the many walking and biking routes right from the doorstep of Mill Hill?
