The detail

Hygge (pronounced Hoo-ga) is defined in Danish as a mood of coziness and "comfortable conviviality" with feelings of wellness and contentment. Something you won't hesitate to feel when stepping through the threshold at this delightful property. Nestled into the bank of Salcombe Estuary, Hygge boasts panoramic views over the crystal clear waters and over to the golden sands of the East Portlemouth beaches.

The open plan living, kitchen and dining area is a harmonious blend of neutral colours and textures which have been thoughtfully layered throughout, including stone counters in the kitchen, chic soft furnishings and solid wood flooring, all with a stylish nod to its Scandi name. Floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive bifold doors drench the interior with light and once again showcase the gorgeous Salcombe Estuary. Where better to enjoy a morning coffee or after-dinner drink with friends?
The modern, sleek kitchen features a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Qooker tap and Nespresso machine with a breakfast bar at which you can plan your adventures while rustling up a hearty breakfast.

The two generously sized bedrooms are comfortably furnished with sumptuous bedding, throws and cushions and also benefit from direct access to the private terrace, the perfect spot for your morning croissant. Super-king size beds and ensuite bathrooms in both bedrooms make this apartment perfect for two couples or a small family. While away your days lazing on the sun-drenched terrace in sumptuous loungers, or take an easy stroll to explore Salcombe's shops and restaurants, very conveniently just a five-minute walk away.
