Husk is a fabulous, unique offering that combines a collection of incredible supper clubs with a set of four beautiful suites in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The old cow barns at Husk have recently been renovated and transformed into four idyllic bedroom suites that are filled with rustic charm thanks to their original beams, stable doors and exposed brick.
With unique style and character, the four suites are all ideal for a romantic getaway providing you and your loved one with a peaceful base from which to explore this marvellous part of the UK. The four suites - Jack, Jill, Hart and Hind - all make use of carefully sourced antique and second-hand furnishings as well as vibrant mid-century and contemporary artwork.
Jack and Jill both offer super-king size beds, whilst Hart and Hind both feature king size beds. The suites all offer ensuite bathrooms that provide a combination of freestanding slipper bath tubs or deluxe monsoon showers. Each room also offers organic Loggique toiletries, robes and slippers, as well as organic tea and coffee.
Guests staying at Husk can also make use of some fabulous facilities on-site. Go for a dip in the natural swimming pool which offers an amazing way to reconnect with nature. And afterwards, be sure to warm up in the eco sauna. You can also go for a stroll to Fallen Oak Pond where you can watch the ducks, hens and geese at play.
If you fancy trying some delicious organic wines, local ales or seasonal cocktails, visit The Pantry or stroll to the local pub, The Star at Wenhaston.
Husk also offers a number of amazing Supper Clubs throughout the year, that guests are welcome to book themselves onto. The Husk seasonal menu changes monthly and includes a welcome aperitif, followed by tasty snacks, their signature freshly baked ‘sourda bread’ and a superb three course meal.
Those of you who wish to venture further afield, have some delightful countryside to explore. The Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a stunning landscape nearby that is packed full of wildlife and fantastic places to explore and discover. This area covers 441 square kilometres of tranquil and unspoilt landscapes which include wildlife-rich estuaries, ancient heaths, windswept shingle beaches and historic towns and villages. You’re also nicely placed to visit the charming seaside town of Lowestoft and the historic Suffolk town of Ipswich.
