Experience the thrill of living on a cliff-edge in this lighthouse cottage. The actual lighthouse is still operating today, minus the loud foghorn however. The cottage is made up of six bedrooms for large groups and has a balcony area for everyone to congregate and watch the birds fly past.
The decor is quaint and cosy, with plenty of seaside charm, and each room has comfy furnishings allowing guests to spread out and relax in style. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious feast, and there's even a dishwasher so no one ends up lumbered with the dishes afterwards. There's a big lounge with a large TV, which is ideal for movie nights with your loved ones, and there's also a more quaint sitting room with nice views and a comfy sofa. The cottage also has a great games room where guests can enjoy a game of ping pong.
Foreland Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage is based on the Exmoor Heritage Coast. Pick up the South West Coast Path for hikes to Lynmouth and beyond. Or go inland towards Watersmeet for its wooded valley and quaint tea-garden. Further afield, Woolacombe Beach can be reached within a 40-minute drive. The swells here make it perfect for surfing.
