Field Cottage is a charming country cottage set in a peaceful location with countryside views from every window. Built in 1850 and refurbished in 2022, the entire property, including the annexe, provides elegant and comfortable holiday accommodation for families, friends and their four-legged companions. Situated in a very tranquil lane in the Peterstow countryside, the house is far enough away from the nearest neighbours to provide a high level of privacy.
Two elegant living rooms provide welcoming areas to relax on the comfy sofas and watch the HD TV or to chill out with your party to enjoy the board games and books available.
A well-equipped country kitchen offers a dishwasher, cooker, hobs, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and everything you will need to serve up delicious meals which you can eat around the sociable dining table while planning your adventures.
Upstairs, you’ll find four spacious and airy bedrooms, all decorated in restful shades of soft grey to promote a soothing ambience and a good night’s sleep. One of these contains bunk beds, perfect for kids and adults alike to enjoy a sleepover.
A modern bathroom and additional shower room come complete with fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries so there's less for you to pack!
The cosy stone-built self-contained annex is 10 metres away from the house and boasts an accessible downstairs double bedroom and shower room, with an airy upstairs open-plan living space with a kitchen and dining table. The spacious vaulted ceiling and lovely garden views make this a charming accommodation offering extra privacy away from the main cottage.
Secure enclosed gardens provide a safe environment for children and dogs to play, with large lawned areas in front of the cottage and annexe. Flowerbeds and shrubs abound making this a lovely place to relax on sunny days while taking in the views of the surrounding country fields, farmland and orchards.
You’ll find a village store, farm shop and pub within strolling distance along with many places to visit in the local area suitable for walkers of all ages and abilities. The cottage is very well connected to the market towns of Ross-On-Wye and Hereford, which are a short drive away. Whether you enjoy sightseeing or axe throwing, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
