For those seeking a glamping experience that combines modernity with simplicity, and nature with convenience, then look no further than the Eco Pods at Tom's Eco Lodges. These expertly constructed glamping gems have been constructed with guests’ comfort and satisfaction right at the forefront. Being set in the Isle of Wight countryside, you can enjoy some of the finest views on the island, right from the comfort of your own decking (while enjoying some grub from the BBQ). Perfect for a romantic getaway, or even a small family excursion, these pods are sure to set even the most worrisome lodger's mind at ease.
Your pod will be decorated in a beautiful, no-frills style, with timber framing and wooden floors and panelling to match. They have been designed so as to retain a cosy feel while maximising all of the space available. Each Pod has a comfy double bed, a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two, an open plan kitchenette and living area, and shower/toilet room. And so that you can make the most of the sweeping views, you will have your own private decking area. There is also a BBQ along with plenty of seating, meaning that you can enjoy your meals al fresco while soaking up the stunning vistas. Why not make the most of your morning by purchasing a bespoke breakfast hamper?
At Tapnel Farm there is a multitude of things to do. Whether it's a bit of go-karting at Tampnel Farm Park, slipping and sliding on the bouncing Aqua Park, enjoying a beer and award-winning burger (veggie and vegan options available) at The Cow Restaurant & Bar, or having a whirl at clay pigeon shooting - there really is something for everyone.
For those wanting to soak up the surrounding countryside there is the Tapnell Trail, a six-mile circular walking route that leads up to the Downs. These provide spectacular views of the area. And don't forget, on the Isle of Wight you're never more than a stone's throw from the coast. For those missing urban life Newport, the county town of the island, is just a 20-minute drive away.
