Perched on a hill top in a quiet corner of pretty Dartmouth, this high-spec bungalow has fabulous views across green fields as well as modern amenities, and comfy furnishings throughout. This fantastic location has something for everyone with nearby sandy beaches and romantic moorland just waiting to be explored as well as the many lovely cafes, bars and shops that Dartmouth has to offer.
And this modern bungalow is a beautiful spot to relax, with its laid back, cutting-edge style, great views and pretty garden. Guests arrive on the private driveway, where there is parking space for two cars (more on-street parking is also available), and will be instantly impressed by the timber clad single storey property.
Stepping side, there is a sleek, minimalist kitchen where guests will find everything they require for making the most of the delicious local produce. The large kitchen island with bar stools is a sociable spot for keeping the designated cook company while they prepare the evening meal. The wooden dining table has cushioned bench seating and dining chairs ensuring there is plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat together.
At the far end of this good sized, open plan space is a large corner sofa and breathtaking corner windows which offers fabulous views across the lush Devon landscape. Ebony has a further lounge room, the 'snug', where guests can sink into the large velvet sofa and enjoy movies and games on the flat screen television.
The garden space is as lovely as the interior. Large patio doors in the living room pull open giving access to the lovely garden where there is a large patio area where you can eat, sunbathe and watch the sunset over the River Dart. Steps lead down to the lawned mature garden where children will love playing in the sunshine.
At the end of the day, when it's time for bed, there are three good sized bedrooms including a master with a magnificent en suite with marble flooring, honeycomb tiles and a grand walk-in shower. A further family bathroom has a modern tub for soaking in after days spent playing in the sand and rolling in the surf.
Dartmouth is a charming town which has a plethora of pubs and restaurants along its historic waterside including The Ship In Dock Inn and the Bayard's Cove Inn. For local beaches, head to Blackpool Sands where the beachside Venus Cafe is the place for refuelling on fish finger butties after a hard day having fun.
