This spacious, deluxe holiday home in Cornwall was originally built in the 1850s and offers groups of up to eight a stylish, comfy place to relax and unwind. Drym House is now modern and sleek, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
The fantastic living room has a gorgeous wooden floor, a striking feature fireplace, and retro style, comfortable sofas. This room is ideal for getting comfy with a book in front of the fire, watching a movie with your loved ones, or simply socialising with a bottle of wine.
The property’s newly renovated kitchen has a beautiful stone floor and is flooded with natural light. This space has a nice breakfast bar where you can sit with a glass of wine as you chat to whoever is preparing dinner, and there’s also a big, farmhouse style dining table that sits next to a log burning stove and has space for your whole group. The kitchen’s amenities are high spec, and modern, and include a range style double oven, American style fridge/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, large wine cooler, coffee machine and double Belfast sink.
When you step outside you have lots of room to spread out and enjoy the fresh country air and summer sunshine. There’s a nice outdoor seating area that is perfect for sitting with your loved ones long into the evening or simply just enjoying your morning coffee. Be sure to enjoy the exquisite landscape gardens, and play a game of boules at the péntaque pit! The property also has a light sun room downstairs with vaulted ceilings, a big sofa, a TV, and bifold doors that open up onto the garden.
At bedtime, Drym House has four lovely, comfy bedrooms. Each one features soft colour palettes and large sash windows that offer nice views of the gardens. The master bedroom has a king size bed and dual aspect windows, as well as a big double shower en suite. There is then another king size bedroom, and a twin room, which both also have their own en suite bathrooms for added privacy and convenience. The fourth and final bedroom is a double and does not have an en suite. The family bathroom upstairs is luxurious with its big statement bath tub, rainfall shower, and lovely views out over the garden. There’s even a convenient boot room and shower room downstairs.
Drym House sits in a peaceful hamlet that is just fifteen minutes from the amazing town of St Ives, with its many delightful restaurants, bars, cafes, and art galleries. You also have easy access to Porthleven, Gwithian, Godrevy and Praa Sands, all of which are absolutely perfect for walking, swimming, surfing or simply lounging around on the sand with your loved ones. The main line St Erth train station is also under five miles from Drym House, which is great for guests who wish to leave their car behind.
