Located in the heart of the astonishing Yorkshire Dales, Coxons Farm Glamping Pods make for an unmissable rural adventure. With the option of the Elbolton or the Skelterton pod, both named after the Cracoe Reef knolls, guests will be spoilt for choice. A remote stay, the pods are perfect for soaking up the countryside. They sit on Coxons Farm, which is a 420-acre upland sheep and beef farm. The farm's solar panels even provide the electricity for the glamping pods, offering an eco-friendly twist to your stay. The fabulous location and comfy cosy interiors ensure an unforgettable experience for all the family.
Both pods sleep two adults in comfort in a nice, cosy double bed. There's also the option to accommodate up to two children on a pull-out sofa for an exciting family stay. Both pods are delightfully modern, featuring free WiFi, contactless check-in, underfloor heating, TVs, and electric charging sockets. The double-glazed VELUX windows and blinds make for a cosy stay, with the pods further featuring an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail for added comfort.
A fully equipped kitchenette allows you to whip up some delicious feasts which can either be enjoyed on the table and chairs or the outdoor picnic bench. There are also some comfy porch chairs that offer a delightful spot for a morning coffee in the fresh country air. Guest also have access to a drying room and a secure storage facility suitable for bikes, pushchairs and other large items. Bed linen and towels are also included.
In the throes of rural North Yorkshire, Coxons Farm is located amidst many spots of natural beauty. The impressionable Gordale Scar and Malham Cove are thirty minutes away by car, and hikers can take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Children will delight in a trip to Skipton Castle, Raven Tree Top Adventure, Hesketh Farm Park or the Kilnsey Trekking and Riding Centre, and the Bolton Abbey Estate is a stunning historic site, with the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway running regular steam services throughout the year for a fun family day out. Slightly further afield, guests can sample the beauty of the city of York with a trip to the York Minster, the iconic Shambles, York City Walls or Clifford’s Tower.
