With lavish interiors and a refined elegance, it is a desirable home that dates back to the 18th century. Its grand rooms are spread out across four storeys and showcase designer furniture and ornate trimmings. Just moments from the towns historic markets and the stunning River Swale, it is the perfect homestead for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

The Grade II-listed house has been expertly renovated and blends period features with a contemporary finish. High ceilings add to its traditional grandeur, while its plush furnishings are chic yet comfortable. A pretty landscaped garden provides views out over the countryside, where you can spot the ancient local church alongside the river bed. With colourful flowers and an al fresco dining terrace, you can while away summer days in an idyllic location.

Inside, there is plenty of room to spread out with beautiful living areas that have stately proportions. The spacious family kitchen is found on the ground floor and has a modern, country design with original beamed ceilings. Head down to the lower floor and youll find the open plan living and dining area that has sumptuous sofas and a calm and soothing atmosphere. A solid wood dining table provides seating for up to 10, while large bow windows peer out over the rolling farmland.

The five gorgeous bedrooms provide room for up to 11 with four double/twin bedrooms and an en-suite family room in the attic. Each of the rooms has been tastefully finished with sink-in beds and timeless, antique furniture. The elegant master suite is the largest of the five and has crisp bedding and a deluxe en-suite bathroom. High up in the rafters, is the classic family room that has a double and a single bed that is ideal for families.

Its atmospheric streets are home to stunning buildings that have exquisite architecture and a colourful character. Discover the Norman market place or the myriad of monuments and museums, before visiting the independent shops or the local pubs and restaurants.
