On a working farm, surrounded by peaceful views of the rural landscape, this modern wooden cabin has been designed to offer guests the pleasures of camping with all the creature comforts needed for a delightful stay.
A family construction project - it was built during lockdown by owners Jake and his parents - Cowman's was created with pets in mind. A dog bed has been built next to the double bed, so the furry family members can enjoy the luxury along side their human companions. A wooden fence wraps around the cabin and provides an area where dogs can run and sniff to their heart's content and their owners can relax knowing their pet, and the nearby farm animals, are safe.
With the environment in mind, the cabin has been built using recycled and natural materials, so sits harmoniously within its environment, amongst a working farm surrounded by fields and woodland. There is a cosy living area, decked out with exposed wood from floor to ceiling, with a sofa facing the patio doors for relaxing summer evenings, or, should the chill set in, cuddle up in front of the wood burner which doubles as a pizza oven. There is a mini-kitchen area where simple meals can be cooked-up, essential equipment includes a toaster and grill oven, or head out onto the decking area and enjoy a barbecue.
The outside area has stylish wooden chairs where guests can relax, enjoy the fresh air or stay up late and take in the starry night skies. There's also a private, wood fired hot tub that guests can book and make use of during their stay.
And when the day is done and bedtime beckons, there is a large, comfy double with cuddly duvets and crisp sheets. Parents will have no trouble persuading children to hit the hay, there are enclosed cabin style bunk beds where, once the excitement subsides, youngsters can settle down for a cosy night's sleep. Inside the cabin guests will find an environmentally-friendly compost toilet but there is a flushing alternative which can be found a few steps behind the cabin next to the private shower room.
This perfectly-located cabin has many beautiful walks from the doorstep. So, once guests arrive, they don't need to use the car until it's time to leave. The lovely local pub, The Balance Inn, is a short walk away, as is the National Trust-owned Berrington Hall. The Capability Brown landscaped gardens are stunning and well-worth a visit. Further a-field and the market town of Ludlow is eight miles away, head there for provisions and perhaps a visit to one of its Michelin-starred restaurants.

what the perfect getaway ???? I really needed to escape and just relax and unwind????its the perfect place to shut off from the world ???? no stressing about life, no arguing about what to watch on the TV, no drama it really is in the middle of nowhere ( but short drive to necessity if needed ) the views are absolutely spectacular ???? we didn't venture out much for walks as it was cold ???????? but to be honest I was quite happy lieing on the bed with the laptop watching movies ???? and not having a care in the world. it's perfect place for my little rescue dog- no loud noises, no stresses lovely walk on the back field I will most definitely be returning ????

Just returned from a lovely stay at Cowman’s Cabin. It’s a very cosy and unique place with the benefit of a private little garden with an outdoor dining area and hot tub. We really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of nature and the slow pace the cabin offers. Would highly recommend :)

OMG the best glamping stay we have ever had! Everything you need packed amazingly in a small space. We had the best time cooking outside in a beautiful setting with great views. We have an old reactive dog and this setting was so perfect for him. The garden is fully enclosed which is great for dogs, it has everything your dog needs already there. The walks from the cabin were fab and very peaceful. We absolutely loved our quiet stay. I genuinely couldn’t have wished for more. Great facilities for glamping. We planned and took all our meals to be made on the bbq which I would suggest is a must. The bed was super comfy with fantastic views. Our only slight disappointment was the lack of hot chocolate for the Velvitiser that was advertised but luckily we brought our own. Such a relaxing place fully embraced the outdoor life great for people who love walking we will definately be back thank you so much. Towels and shower facilities provided at a very short walk. Stunning sunset. Camping at its best and the owners were amazingly helpful before we came at helping with any questions we had. We live in shropshire just over the boarder but we wouldn’t hesitate to come back defo 5 ****

Idyllic setting for a countryside escape. Myself, partner and Husky Dog have stayed at Cowman's Cabin twice now (In October 2021 and May 2022) and we WILL be visiting again. We absolutely love it here. The cabin is set up with almost all kitchen equipment (actually even more now as we left some there last time ????) to make meals for yourself. However there is no gas burner inside, only a George Foreman, which was fine for us as we used the Pizza Oven and BBQ to full effect while there. The bed is very comfortable and due to the quiet location it is very peaceful to sleep here. Although in October we were there during some of the worst rain and wind which was pretty loud on metal cabin - but did not deter us from wanting to come back. The contact and help from owners is amazing - very speedy responses and always really friendly and helpful. However, if you don't need anything you can just get on with things yourself. Bathroom facilities are fab - we actually love the compost loo in the cabin itself and the separate bathroom is just 20metres away with good electric shower and flushing toilet. They provide plenty of towels and toweling robes too. Wood fired hot tub is a great luxury and they will prepare it for your first evening if requested (which we always do). I would (and have) recommend to my friends for anyone that wants some glamping in a rural retreat. Thanks Jake, Amanda et al for everything x

We had the best stay at this gorgeous cabin! All of the small touches really make a difference and I think that’s what makes it so special. Everything is of the highest quality and couldn’t fault a thing. We will 100% be returning. Thank you so much :)
