The detail

This six bedroom 350 year old Ibizan finca is nestled into the hills of San Antonio and has been very recently renovated to now include a large terrace and a swimming pool measuring 14m x 6m: perfect for those hot Ibizan days in the sunshine!

Perched on the top of a hill, this unique finca is very secluded, surrounded on three sides by lush pine forests. Sitting on a plot of 80,000 m² of its own farmland, the setting offers an oasis of calm, with a distant sea view of San Antonio’s bay and the hills of San Joseph in the background.

The house has been in the same family for most of its 350 year existence and great care has been taken to honour the family’s heritage and the Ibizan traditional style in the renovation. Throughout the house you’ll see how antiques have been mixed with a more modern functionalist style to create a charming, yet elegant look. The U shaped layout of the house means that the bedrooms are set apart from each other, and gives you a real sense of privacy from the rest of your friends or family. All of the six bedrooms benefit for air conditioning.

At the same time, the communal areas are fantastic and definitely large enough to host an entire group of 12 people together in style. There is one large indoor living room, an old mill which makes for a second, quiet living room, plus three large outdoor lounge spaces and two fully equipped outside dining areas. As the communal areas can cater for a much larger group than 12, San Antonio makes for an excellent place to host a party or a wedding.

On the technology front you’re sure to appreciate a Sonos sound system, Wi-Fi and satellite TV plus for security there’s an alarm system, gated entry and three safes for your personal use. Outside, there’s parking for at least 10 cars and plenty of green space for the kids to play or for you to entertain, as well of course as that large swimming pool for diving straight into on those hot, Ibizan days.

The house is situated just a short drive to some of the best beaches on the island, such as Cala Gracio and Gracionetta (5 mins), Punta Galera and Cala Salada (10 mins), Platges de Conte (15 mins), Cala Tarida and Cala Carbo (15 mins), and Salinas (20 mins). Located on the west coast of the island, you’ll find plenty of places to hang out, enjoy the sunshine and beer as the sun sets on the horizon.
