Immerse in true Ibizan life at Can Bonita, a villa situated at the very heart of the white island in the village of Santa Gertrudis.

This Bohemian hub for artists and musicians is a popular meeting point for locals and acts as a home from home for adopted locals from across Europe and beyond.

The villa itself is spread across two properties, with the main house having a double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor.

A further single bedroom can be found upstairs, as can the stunning master bedroom with its access to the roof terrace and spectacular views of the Ibiza countryside.

A neighbouring annex has a further double bedroom and bathroom, with the means to sleep a further two people as well to ensure maximum flexibility for all sorts of groups.

The large living area mixes comfort with style to ensure those staying have plenty of options for relaxation. Another seating area accompanies the large kitchen, which has enough crockery, cutlery and glassware to cater for up to 13 people.

Outside is where the true gem of Can Bonita can be found, however, with a large pool and surrounding patio sitting among the rural setting and offering fantastic views of Santa Gertrudis and beyond.

Loungers and parasols ensure that sun worshippers can take in the beautiful Mediterranean climate, while an archway leads to an outdoor seating area for further spots to relax in or the perfect place for al fresco dining and enjoying an early evening drink.

The village itself is just a short walk away and has so much to offer. Steeped in Spanish tradition, in the main square there is the whitewashed church, which is surrounded by a number of bars, restaurants and shops.

Santa Gertrudis is also a hub for art, and there is an eclectic mix of galleries, craft shops and clothing outlets for those who want to mix culture with a bit of retail therapy.

Perhaps the biggest highlight is the international book shop, Libro Azul, which has English editions, while Casi Todo has auctions every month selling everything from paintings to antiques.
