Trullo Ciliegio comprises eight traditional cone shaped buildings brought together in one fabulous house. Sleeping seven with two bedrooms in the main building, and an independent suite with one bedroom and a sofa bed, it would be a brilliant choice for friends or family seeking sun and tranquility.

The house sits on the landscape surrounded by fields and is an absolute haven. The exterior is fascinating with its rural architecture and traditional cone shaped roofing and everything is spread out open.

Inside the trullo you'll find an open plan kitchen, living and dining area where the curved ceilings, walls and flooring are pale creamy stone, creating a light and cool space ideal for hot Italian summers. The décor is entirely drawn from natural, earthy tones giving the whole space a rustic but luxurious feel.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to create feasts to be enjoyed at the long dining table which comfortably seats eight. You'll find an 'Apulian' welcome basket on arrival and it's a wonderful place to share breakfast, drink coffee and make your plans for the day.

A cosy living room runs on from the kitchen and dining area and provides an elegant space to chill with a drink, watch some movies or curl up in the benched and cushioned alcoves with a good book.

This part of the building also house two of the bedrooms which are both equally lovely. Close the shutters to the traditional windows and you'll have a cool dark space in which to get a good night's sleep. A second part of the building with its own entrance provides another similar bedroom with an additional living area and a very comfy sofa bed for that seventh guest. This is great for friends sharing or those with a child. Both living rooms have Smart TV's.

After a rest you'll have the choice of five bathrooms to get your day started. Two of the bedrooms come with ensuite facilities, two are shared bathrooms and the fifth is outside near the pool, perfect for post swim showers. All of the bathrooms have large walk-in showers and complementary luxurious Acqua di Parma toiletries. You'll find fluffy towels, heated towel rails and everything else you'll need for a refreshing wake up.

The real joy of this lovely property is outside. The huge sprawling space has a large salt water swimming pool with sun loungers and a big comfy corner sofa where you can spend the day sipping Aperol and cooling in the water. When it comes to lunch or dinner there's a fantastic outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired oven, ideal for fresh pizza, and a BBQ. The pergola dining area is an atmospheric place to gather together for a long lazy supper on warm Mediterranean evenings.

Your nearest neighbour is fifty metres away so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. You'll only be a five-minute drive from Martina Franca where you'll find cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and a mini-market where you can stock up on provisions. If you do want to explore further afield there are many stunning Puglia villages to visit within a half hour's drive such as Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino and the Savelletri seaside coast.
