As you enter this brand-new holiday home, your eyes will soak up the light and airy interior with its large windows, skylights and patio doors. The natural light and calming neutral decor make 12 The Nest the perfect place to relax and recharge on the idyllic southern Cornish coast.

Cook up a feast and entertain friends or family in the open-plan kitchen and dining area. Modern Miele appliances make cooking easy, and you can take your food outdoors for alfresco dining on the large private terrace while you soak up the stunning views. In colder (or rainier!) times, eight people can comfortably sit around the impressive dining table. In the mornings, fill the kitchen with the smell of fresh coffee from the machine, while in the evenings, the wine cooler is there to make sure your drinks are served ‘just right’.

The plush, comfy sofas in the large living room are perfect for sinking into after a long day exploring Cornwall or curling up on in front of the TV and Sonos surround sound system. As the evening draws in, head up to one of the four upstairs bedrooms, two of which have an ensuite for added privacy, and all feature a double bed with luxury bedding. Plenty of natural light from the skylights eases you into the next day of exploring Charlestown.

Historic Charlestown is nestled on the rugged yet beautiful southern coast of Cornwall. Transport back in time and get lost exploring the quaint, cobbled streets and independent shops, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Charlestown Harbour. Work up an appetite wandering along picturesque beaches and among rockpools before stopping for something to eat. Charlestown is a gastronomic treat, boasting some of the best eateries in Cornwall. Sample fantastic seafood at Springtide, or tuck into a steak and The Longstore. Further afield, Edies at Carlyon Bay, the Pig at Harlyn Bay or Rick Stein’s famous Seafood Restaurant in Padstow will delight your tastebuds.
