This elegant apartment, set over the top two floors of a contemporary villa on Anglesey’s coast, has stunning views out over Rhosneigr Bay. The large, glass-fronted balcony is the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast while soaking up the view. Head out for a day at the beach, try out some watersports at Rhosneigr, go for a round of golf at the course nearby or explore more of the island by heading out on a bike ride. In the evening, you’ll want to head right back to that balcony to enjoy a glass of something as the sun sets over the sea.
The apartment has its own entrance which takes you straight up to the first floor. You’ll be greeted with an elegant hallway with a spiral staircase up to the second floor and a door through to the spacious living room. Here you’ll find a comfy sofa and armchairs as well as a dining table, all set in front of big sliding doors that lead out onto the balcony. On sunny days, keep the doors open, letting in some of that fresh seaside air and extend your living space outside. The balcony has a glass front, so you can still enjoy the view from the sofa indoors and there’s plenty of outdoor furniture so you can dine alfresco in the summer.
You’ll also find a well-equipped, country-style kitchen on the first floor and one of the bedrooms. This room features a luxurious king size bed, stunning sea views and a sofa which is the perfect spot to curl up with a book. The ensuite bathroom also has a roll-top bath so you can treat yourself to a relaxing soak after a long walk along the coast.
Head upstairs via the lovely spiral staircase to find the other three bedrooms, all of which have stunning sea views. There’s an attic-style twin bedroom under the eaves with an ensuite shower room. Opposite this, you’ll find a double room made cosy by the sloping ceiling and exposed wooden beams. The final bedroom is perfect for a child with a single bed beneath a window with stunning views out over the beach.
There’s plenty to do in the area with Rhosneigr’s two sandy beaches nearby. This has become a bit of a haven for watersports enthusiasts with great conditions for kite surfing, windsurfing and paddleboarding on calmer days. If you fancy a walk, explore the Rhosneigr Sand Dunes or the nearby Maelog Lake, both great places for a picnic or to spot some of the local wildlife along the way. If you fancy exploring a little further afield, head out along the coast on a bike ride to soak up the scenery or tackle some of Snowdonia National Park’s peaks, just a short drive away.
