Sitting on a beautiful Northumberland farm, these two cabins offer a luxurious escape in the country, with each space sleeping two in comfort. Both cabins are booked separately and have plenty of rustic, rural charm, whilst also having all of the comfy furnishings and amenities required to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
First up is Crofter's Cabin, which is a homage to the farm on which it sits. This unique space is ideal for couples and is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your canine companion with you. Your cabin sits inside on own piece of pretty farmland, and is surrounded by hazel wood picket fencing. Lounge outside in the sunshine on the veranda or the lawned garden and sit around the firepit at night to keep cosy as the stars come out up above. You can also enjoy some true luxury thanks to your own wood-fired hot tub, whilst music plays from the Bose speaker provided.
Inside, Crofter's Cabin is decked out with plenty of artistic flair, making use of reclaimed wood and hand-picked fittings. There's a statement leather chair in the living room that sits by the fireplace, as well as some stunningly crafted kitchen units. The bedroom at Crofter's Cabin is super-comfy thanks to a chunky iron bed. There's also a stylish, modern bathroom and complimentary toiletries from The White Company, as well as a nice fluffy set of Christy bathrobes.
Next up is Saddler's Cabin. This log cabin has been inspired by the owner's love for horses and offers a unique, cosy, and comfy spot for couples to relax and unwind. The Cabin sits in a grassy area that's overlooked by evergreen trees. To enter, make your way up the wood chip path that takes you through fruit trees and a rose arch. As you arrive at the cabin you're presented with two rocking chairs that sit on the shaded veranda and the wood-fired hot tub that offers you a fab spot to relax after a day out and about.
Saddler's Cabin is also very stylish throughout, and the owners have taken no shortcuts when it comes to fixtures and fittings. The living space has a big comfy leather sofa and a cool arm chair that both sit around the wood burning stove, which makes cosy evenings in a joy. The kitchen is also nicely equipped and there's a quaint little dining area for two. The romantic bedroom has a big four poster bed that's been festooned with greenery, whilst the room also makes use of vintage lightbulbs that create a magical scene. There are sheepskin rugs available, and you also have access to your own luxury Christy bathrobes, as well as complimentary toiletries from The White Company.
Guests at both cabins have five different loose leaf Bari Teas and ingredients for S'mores. Essentials such as milk, butter and oil are also supplied, and you're handed a welcome hamper filled with treats to help them settle in!
These two cabins sit on Old Felton Farm, which is located in Northumberland. This rugged, beautiful county is full of history, and is rich in castles, wonderful beaches and wild walks. The nearby coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers up forty miles of unspoilt beaches, whilst there are also three remarkable coastal castles to visit - Bamburgh, Dustanburgh, and Warkworth. Avid walkers will want to explore the marvellous scenery on offer at Simonside Hills, Cheviot Hills or Thrunton Woods.
Under a mile from your door is the River Coquet, which meanders through the quaint village of Felton. You can walk to Felton through neighbouring farmland via a public footpath that take you past some delightful local pubs and eateries.
