Will’s Tree House at Winchcombe Farm is the perfect retreat for getting away from it all whilst keeping it suitably luxurious. With an upper and lower outdoor terrace housing everything from lounging and dining furniture to your own private hot tub, it’s a great place to reconnect. Perched amongst sycamore and ash trees (with one even growing through the kitchen), there’s a real sense of adventure. Add to this an outdoor shower (there’s one inside too) and plenty of creative play installations, and it promises to be a truly magical stay for kids and grown ups alike.

The bedroom and living area has been cleverly thought out, sleeping up to four people alongside a comfortable lounging and dining area. The king size bed is dressed in crisp white linen and colourful textiles. And the fold-down bunk beds - specially imported from France, no less - are ingeniously housed behind the sofa. This means there’s plenty of room left for a large leather sofa, dining area and even a telescope (perfect for some late-night stargazing). And if you’re a fan of your mod cons, you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s a 55” flatscreen Smart TV and DVD player, Wii U, wifi speaker and underfloor heating throughout.

The bathroom is suitably sleek with a bath and overhead powershower. And complimentary toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and soft towels all come as standard.

The kitchen is fresh and modern with top-quality fittings and JosephJoseph and Smeg accessories. It’s got everything you could possibly need to survive in a treehouse, including a gas hob, electric oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave and dishwasher.

Outside there is a large partly covered deck spanning two levels. The top level is the perfect social space with a dining area, lounging furniture and a hammock. There’s no excuse not to indulge in a spot of al fresco cooking, with a large BBQ and charcoal pizza oven ready and waiting to be fired up. On the lower deck, there’s a fabulous hot tub that takes in the best of the views over the stunning Warwickshire countryside.

To add a real sense of adventure there’s a private outdoor shower and a great children’s play area. With a climbing frame, pirate ship, lookout tower and ground level trampoline, there’s plenty of opportunity for some excellent creative play - or just some straight up bouncing. And with wildlife in abundance, the thoughtful owners have also included some binoculars so you can get up close to the local residents, including heron, woodpeckers, ducks and moorhens.

Wonderfully located on the north-east tip of the Cotswolds, there’s lots to explore in the local area. With great walking and cycling you can get right to the heart of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you can’t resist a bit of history, both Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle are just a short drive away. And for those that enjoy a slightly more relaxed pace, the popular Cotswolds spots of Broadway and Stow on the Wolds are both within easy striking distance.
