The details
Whitepod is located in Switzerland, in the canton of Valais, in the village of Les Cerniers, at the foot of the Dents-du-Midi mountain range – the beginning of the Swiss Alps. Whitepod is at a 45-minute drive from Montreux or a 1h30 drive from Geneva airport.
It faces the renowned ski resort Villars and stands above the city of Monthey. Set at 1,450 yards above sea level, Whitepod offers accommodation in a collection of pods anchored on a wooden platform. Each pod comes with a wood-burning stove and an en-suite bathroom. Choose from Deluxe pods, Cosy pods or Family pods. Each of the pods has a floor-to-ceiling window facing the valley. There is also a small terrace at the entrance.
Whitepod manages its own ski slopes which are exclusively open for its guests. The domain has two ski-lifts and 7 km of red and blue slopes. There are 15.5 miles of signposted snowshoeing trails and sauna. Dogsledding, paragliding, guided tour and massages can be organized on-site.
Whitepod includes a central chalet with a spa centre and a bar. Buffet breakfast is served here daily. Located in the village of Les Cerniers, the resort is a 25-minute drive off the A9 motorway to Martigny.
