Tucked away in the rolling Herefordshire countryside, White House Hideaway offers a trio of beautifully crafted log cabins designed for total relaxation and reconnection with nature. Each cabin sleeps two and sits in its own peaceful spot overlooking the breathtaking Wye Valley. Whether you’re seeking romance, solitude or simply time to unwind, these cosy retreats offer a magical blend of comfort and wild beauty.
Step inside your cabin and feel instantly cocooned. Large picture windows frame views of green fields and winding riverbanks while the wood-burning stove flickers invitingly in the corner keeping you toasty and warm whatever the weather outside. The double bed promises deep, restful sleep after days spent exploring, and there are books and games on hand for slow mornings or quiet evenings in.
The compact kitchen has everything you need to prepare a simple supper or hearty breakfast, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle and cafetiere, while tea, coffee and marshmallows are provided for that essential fireside treat. The bathroom is equipped with a hot shower and either a compost or incinerating toilet depending on your cabin, plus fluffy towels and toiletries for a touch of luxury.
Outside is where the real magic happens. Each cabin has its own private wood-fired hot tub where you can sink beneath the bubbles beneath a blanket of stars. Light the firepit, grill something delicious on the BBQ and listen to the sounds of the countryside as night falls. The Hare cabin even offers a cold plunge for the brave-hearted, the perfect contrast to a hot soak.
Days here move at a slower pace. Wander down to the farm’s private stretch of the River Wye to paddleboard, swim or simply sit on the pebble beach and watch the water flow by. Follow the Wye Valley Walk through ancient woodland, join a foraging session or head into nearby Ross-on-Wye for quaint shops, riverside pubs and friendly local cafés. White House Hideaway is a little corner of paradise where the world feels beautifully far away.
