Palatial Italian villa perfect for large groups looking to escape to the Amalfi Coast
Villa Elyseum has to be seen to be believed. As you stand by the large private swimming pool on the sunny terrace you can see this historic building draped in luscious foliage of greens and bright pinks. Then venture over to the tranquil garden and stand in the shade of olive trees with the sea breeze on your face. Once you step inside you are presented with yet more beauty, as the rooms in this villa hark back to a different time. Wonderful tiled floors throughout and pristine white walls, as you make your way around you are overcome by that relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere that so many people crave. Wander into the gorgeous bedrooms and be blown away by their intricately designed artistic ceilings, large luxurious beds, stunning views out onto the bay below, and fabulous en suite bathrooms.
This traditional palatial villa is elegantly furnished and refined to the highest level. There are giant open living spaces with large vaulted ceilings and lovely views of the rugged Amalfi coastline where the mountains drop peacefully into the turquoise sea. These views, which are some of the best Italy has to offer, can also be enjoyed from the picturesque tiered terrace, with its tables, chairs, sun loungers, and of course, the fabulous private swimming pool. Villa Elyseum also has a great living space with antique decorated fire places and comfy chairs where you can sit and enjoy evenings in. There is also a fantastic dining area with room to seat 14 guests in style. You can cook some fabulous Italian cuisine in the fully functional kitchen or hire a chef to come and cook for you. However, if you do decide to head out for dinner then there are plenty of splendid restaurants nearby.
Villa Elyseum is perfectly located for those wishing to access some of Italy’s most sought after destinations. Not only is it right on the gorgeous Amalfi coastline, with its breathtaking views, rugged mountains, luscious forests and pretty villages, but you also have some incredible towns and cities nearby. Naples, for example, is under 60km away and has some of the nation’s best pizza restaurants and other amazing spots to eat. Pompeii, the ancient Roman city that was destroyed by en erupting volcano in 79AD, is also nearby. As you stroll around the haunting ruins of Pompeii you’ll be transported back to the past and reminded of the true power that lies inside Mount Vesuvius.
