This renovated gem offers three individual suites with a shared kitchen/living area - or, if there’s a group of you, why not book out the whole place to yourselves? Bursting with original features and delectable design touches, its style credentials score rather highly. And with three elegant two-storey suites to choose from, you’re truly spoilt for choice.
The three rooms are split over two floors so there’s plenty of room to spread out - with each benefiting from a ground floor seating area complete with a 32” Smart TV. Upstairs you’ll find king size beds impeccably dressed in Egyptian cotton and colourful bedspreads. And both Waiting Room and Room 101 have sofa beds so you can add one or two extra guests.
Each room has its own individual style - from the floor-to-ceiling glazed mezzanine in Waiting Room, to the sumptuous velvet sofa and characterful wooden ceiling in Little House. And with stripped wooden floors, sumptuous textiles and on-trend colour schemes all the rooms are effortlessly chic.
The rooms all have their own deluxe en-suite bathroom boasting large walk-in showers, statement designer tiles and decadently moody colour schemes. And fluffy towels and toiletries are supplied as standard.
The shared area downstairs is no less stylish, with an impressive vaulted ceiling, antique pine flooring and an exposed brick fireplace. Add to this a cosy sofa, a dining area - complete with a reclaimed antique-door table - and feature pendant lighting. The well equipped kitchen has all the pots and pans you’ll need - plus the all-important Nespresso coffee machine for your morning caffeine fix.
Breakfast is included in the cost of the room - with tea, Nespresso, milk, bread, butter and eggs all provided. If you fancy a few extras then the owners helpfully provide an ‘Honesty Breakfast Tray’ with cereals, jams, herbal teas etc.
Winchester is a stunning city, with quaint streets to explore and plenty of Elizabethan and Regency architecture to marvel at. And at the heart of the city sits the stunning Winchester Cathedral. It also boasts a feast of places to eat out, from the relaxed River Cottage Canteen at Abbey Mill Gardens, to the Michelin starred perfection of the Black Rat.
