Tucked away in a quiet spot a short stroll from Rock’s bustling village centre, Trerokken is perfect for trips away with friends or family. There are five beautifully furnished bedrooms split between the main house and a newly refurbished poolhouse next to a 30ft heated swimming pool. The open plan living and dining spaces lend themselves to socialising and entertaining while the large south-facing garden is a peaceful spot to lie back and relax. After a day at the beach or a trip across to Padstow, enjoy a sundowner by the pool and dinner out on the terrace.
Step inside and you’ll find that the big kitchen and dining room on the ground floor create the social hub of the house with bi-fold doors leading out onto the terrace. There’s an outdoor dining table overlooking the garden and the pool so you can enjoy your meals outside on warmer days. Next door, the living room features comfy sofas and armchairs gathered around a woodburner and a smart TV, perfect for cosy evenings in.
There are five bedrooms in total, one of which is found in the poolhouse. It also has its own kitchen and living space, making it perfect for guests who might want a bit of space to themselves. Back in the main house, there’s a twin room with patio doors leading out onto a secluded terrace, a lovely spot for a coffee in the morning. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor with the main bedroom featuring an ensuite and a balcony overlooking the garden and the pool.
You’ll find plenty to do right on your doorstep with Rock’s charming streets and beach just down the road. Take the ferry across the Camel Estuary to the pretty harbour town of Padstow, perhaps enjoying a meal at one of Rick Stein or Paul Ainsworth’s restaurants. Enjoy a scenic walk along the estuary or stride out along the South West Coastal Path for some spectacular scenery. You can learn to surf at Polzeath beach nearby or sign up for waterskiing or sailing lessons at the Camel Ski School. This is also a fantastic location for a golfing holiday with discounted use of The Point’s golf and leisure facilities and St Enodoc next door.
