- If you are travelling with a baby or toddler the owners can provide a cot or toddler bed.
- Guests are welcome to bring one or two small to medium sized, well behaved, dogs. There is an additional charge of £35 and you will need to let the owners know when making your booking.

These Tree House Retreats are hidden within an ancient beech wood at Cowdray, a 16,000-acre natural playground, home to a fabulous selection of outdoor activities, country pursuits, as well as wellness and creative classes. They are set along the edge of private woodland in a secluded yet convenient location at the heart of the estate with the historic town of Midhurst a short walk away. Considered and carefully sourced items fill the homes and vintage furniture sits alongside contemporary art and everything has been carefully chosen with provenance, durability, story and style in mind.
An open-plan living room and double bedroom create an airy and luxurious space for two while the extensive glass doors and balcony, just metres from the forest canopy, allow birdsong and light to flood in and connect you with the rhythms of the forest.
In the chic yet rustic sitting room, you’ll find a selection of guidebooks and maps to help you live like a local. When you have finished exploring, you’ll find classic games to entertain you, plus a little library to lose yourself in. Guests wanting to stay connected will find a flat-screen television, bluetooth speakers and super-fast WiFi.
Each tree house retreat has one spacious double bedroom with a sumptuous super-king size bed, one luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and an outdoor bath on the terrace offering you the ideal place for a luxurious soak under the stars.
The well-stocked kitchens include an induction hob, oven, grill, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer plus a full set of utensils, glassware, tableware and crockery.
Nestled within a peaceful woodland clearing just moments from the treehouses, the new woodland sauna provides a private retreat dedicated to rest and rejuvenation. Available to hire exclusively, guests can enjoy two-hour sessions immersed in nature.
The cedar barrel sauna is positioned to take full advantage of uninterrupted woodland views, with large windows framing the surrounding trees. Outside, an open-air copper rainfall shower and a secluded, screened decking area offer the perfect place to cool off and forest bathe between sauna sessions, allowing guests to fully embrace the tranquillity and stillness of the forest.

My wife and I spent 2 fabulous nights at Treehouse retreats earlier in July . Beautiful treehouses set within woodland next to Cowdray Polo fields with fantastic interior design. We had wonderful stay from start to finish . Booking process was easy and met on site by a member of site and given keys to our buggy for the weekend. Shown to the treehouse we had picked and stunned by how luxurious they were . Every need and whim has been considered. Local area was great to beautiful with so much to see and do . Highly recommended, we will be back . Many thanks
