And thanks to great access to the surrounding scenery and nearby beaches, it offers you and your loved ones a relaxing base from which to explore this delightful part of the country.
Step inside and the interior immediately feels warm and welcoming with its traditional country cottage style. You’ll find the original beams overhead and flagged stone or wooden floors underfoot. The cosy kitchen has some beautiful stonework over the Aga and a butler sink set beneath the window. Gather around the table in the dining room for delicious home-cooked breakfasts to set you up for a day’s walking in the fells and refuel in the evenings with cosy dinners.

What a brilliant place to stay for a few days! The cottage is simply just wonderful- cosy, well equipped and full of character. Emiko has created a fantastic base for exploring the West Lakes, and we will come back!

We had an excellent time at the cottage! So cozy, so beautiful! And the host took time to show us all the areas to visit, show us around. Our kids had the best time surrounded by nature. Mostly recommended!
