Stay close to the sea at The Studio, a beautiful holiday cottage near the sweeping shoreline of Pevensey Bay in East Sussex. With the stunning south coast on one side and the charming village on the other, this is the perfect place to come and relax.
Sleeping up to 7 people, guests come into the entrance porch with church pew and then the open plan social hub of the cottage. With limed oak flooring throughout and a vaulted ceiling it really is an impressive space. The sitting area has 2 leather sofas, a smart TV, and a wood burning stove, which flows into the kitchen complete with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, hidden TV, and breakfast bar with stools. Finally there is the dining area, which not only has a glass dining table and chairs but also a baby grand piano and the whole house benefits from the Sonos multi-zone sound system to keep guests entertained.. A utility room off this space also has a second fridge/freezer and dishwasher, as well as the washer/dryer.
Continuing on the ground floor reveals the first of the 4 bedrooms in this property. The first room has a zip and link bed that can be made up as a twin or super-king (please advise at the point of booking). The second bedroom on this level is a double, which comes complete with a smart TV, glazed doors leading out to the garden, and en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. There is also a separate shower room with large shower.
A staircase leads off the sitting area to the mezzanine level. Here are the third and fourth bedrooms - the first with a single bed and the second being the master suite, with its TV and double-ended bath. It also has a large shower room with heated towel rail. Outside are 2 separate garden areas - 1 off the kitchen with a chiminea and garden furniture, and the other with a lawn and pond.
The beach itself is just 50 yards away and deck chairs are provided. Alternatively, the village of Pevensey has a variety of restaurants, pubs and takeaways, from traditional fish and chip shops to more refined seafood cuisine.

We loved The Studio. Rai and Roger were very helpful and responsive. The house is beautiful and really well equipped. The piano has a beautiful sound, the kitchen is fantastic and the bedrooms all lovely. The garden is great too and the swingball got a good workout. Literally a stone’s throw from the beach. Free electric car charging. Within reach of some lovely sights too and Aldi just a few mins drive away. We all thoroughly enjoyed the space, the peace and the weather. Thanks for having us!

The Studio is a stunning house. It suits both people wanting to explore the surroundings or simply wanting to rest and go to the nearby beach. The house is warm and cosy so much so that some days I just wanted to stay in the garden for the day doing nothing. It is an ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries
