And, guests wanting to minimise their carbon footprint will love the Straw Store as the property utilises a low-carbon heating system to keep things toasty while staying as environmentally friendly as possible.
A studio cabin, the Straw Store elegantly blends its open-plan kitchen and living area with its sleeping space, which features a cosy double bed. The living space is home to a generous, plush sofa and coffee table. Finally, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything self-catering guests will need to whip up the meal of their dreams, offering access to a hob, oven, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator.
Guests should be aware that bathroom and toilet facilities aren’t located within the Straw Store itself, but in a separate onsite structure.
The Rame Peninsula is home to some of Cornwall’s loveliest beaches, creeks, tracts of farmland and parks. Far less of a tourist-trap than some of Cornwall’s better-known areas, guests may wish to visit historic sites like the dramatic Queen Adelaide’s Grotto on Penlee Point or Penlee Battery. Rame Head Heritage Coast is also home to some gorgeous heathland and dramatic stretches of coastline.
Guests who wish to explore more of Cornwall have the whole region on their doorstep. Truro, the Cornish capital, is just an hour away from the property, as are Newquay and charming St Ives. The Straw Store is also just a short drive away from some other highlights of the Southern UK, including Plymouth and Dartmoor National Park. Dartmoor is one of the UK’s largest wild areas, home to gorgeous moorlands, dramatic Neolithic ruins, forests and rivers.
