The details
The Roundhouse is a delightful cottage nestled in the secluded hamlet of Tregonce just a two-minute walk from the famous Camel Trail. It would be a wonderful romantic getaway for a couple, and the living room sofa converts into a double bed making it ideal for those with children or friends happy to share.
This Grade II listed cottage is very pretty and spacious. The ground floor offers a delightful open plan kitchen, living and dining room that is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Light and airy with plenty of Cornish charm, with interesting ornaments and art dotted about, it feels like a home from home with an extra level of elegance.
The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a Nespresso machine for that all important first coffee of the day. Prepare a delicious meal to share at the generous dining table before relaxing on the large sofa for a film night with a big glass of wine.
The main bedroom has a large comfortable king size bed decked out in crisp linens, a fluffy duvet and warm blanket. There's plenty of storage for clothing and the window has shuttered blinds. In addition the large sofa opens up into a comfortable double bed making it ideal for those holidaying with children or friends who are happy to bunk in together.
The bathroom is sleek, modern and fully tiled with a deep bathtub and shower overhead. Just pop your towel on the heated rail and enjoy a long soak at the end of the day.
On a balmy summer evening you might like to enjoy your meal out in the garden where you'll find plenty of seating and a table where you can relax and enjoy the peace. A welcome extra indulgence comes in the form of a fantastic wood-fired hot tub, perfect for a muscle relaxing soak after a long day of walking and exploring.
The cottage sits adjacent to a field where dogs are welcome and the hosts are very happy for you to bring your pups with you.
