Nestled within a living rewilding project in the heart of Somerset, this peaceful hillside cabin offers a slow, nature-led escape where vast skies and endless views over the Levels meet quiet comfort and calm. Step outside and you’ll see the River Parrett winding through the landscape, birds rising over the wetlands and light shifting across the open sky – a panorama that feels timeless.
The cabin is a thoughtful blend of luxury and sustainability. Inside, a king size bed promises deep, restorative sleep, while a wood burner with pizza shelf brings gentle warmth on cooler nights. You’ll find everything you need for easy, unhurried days – a well-equipped kitchenette, cosy seating and calm, nature-inspired interiors.
Outside, a private sauna and plunge hot tub invite you to unwind beneath the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Every detail has been crafted for comfort and simplicity – from the organic toiletries and plush robes to the firepit grill perfect for slow evening suppers under the open sky.
This is a place to truly pause. Wander through nearby ancient woodlands, visit the vineyard just a short walk away or take a dip in the wild swimming spots scattered around the area. When you’re ready to rejoin the world, the charming village of Langport is minutes away, with riverside cafés and paddleboarding on the Parrett. A little further afield, Glastonbury’s vibrant streets, steeped in history and myth, make for a perfect day’s adventure before returning to your quiet hillside sanctuary – where the stars seem impossibly close and the world feels wonderfully still.
