Made up of a large main building that houses a stunning greenhouse restaurant, a Kitchen Garden where much of their produce is grown and a selection of guest rooms ranging from cosy and indulgent, to romantic hidden wagons and traditional flint and timber Stable Yard buildings spread out around the original courtyards, offering variety and utter charm.
All of the rooms are decorated in rich, quirky fabrics and have big cosy beds. You'll find reclaimed wood, roll top baths and the most fantastic addition of a larder stocked with locally sourced goodies. Each room (or wagon!) is unique and all are kitted out with a real attention to detail, from wood burners to monsoon showers and freestanding double-ended baths.
THE PIG is a perfect romantic getaway for two and is also a food lover's dream. It's also a great place for friends and family to catch up and a lovely, idyllic place to unwind with the kids.
After you've settled into your lush accommodation take a stroll around the grounds and discover an orchard of old English apple trees, espaliers and fruit cages over 100 years old. You'll find the heart of this fantastic establishment is its walled Kitchen Garden which is mature and spreads over almost two acres, showing the huge commitment THE PIG has to home grown and locally sourced produce. Anything they can't grow they source from within a 25-mile radius.
You might like to spend your afternoon indulging in some spa treatments in the Potting Shed treatment rooms. Or maybe head out and explore the South Downs before returning to treat yourselves to a pre-dinner drink in the delightful oval panelled bar where classic cocktails and Kitchen Garden inspired tipples are varied and plenty.
Then it's time to settle in the restaurant for a wonderful feast of seasonal and local delights paired with magnificent wines! This a food lover's heaven, and afterwards you'll be able to collapse into your big comfy bed and sleep the sleep of the full.
THE PIG is only four miles from the ancient market town of Arundel with its charming meandering streets and medieval castle. And if you fancy exploring a little further afield you're only a half hour drive away from over 50 miles of coastline, seaside towns and glorious sandy beaches.
