With views over surrounding farmland, and overlooking the majestic Brecon Beacons, this delightful self-catering cottage offers comfortable and cosy, off-grid living.
Constructed in 2016, The Eco Cottage is built to a very high specification, whilst still being able to offer efficient and comfortable eco-friendly accommodation. Using a wind turbine and PV panels, a natural spring and under-floor heating throughout, this cottage takes nothing from the land on which it sits. The owners live in the house behind the cottage and have lavished plenty of time and attention on making The Eco Cottage simply perfect. Think comforting soft furnishings, sumptuous rugs and perfectly quirky painted wooden furniture and you have the measure of this stunning holiday home.
Come through the front door and be impressed by the vaulted living area, encompassing a kitchen, dining room and living room with four picture windows offering up unspoilt views. Leave your muddy boots by the door and come on through to the living room, with its sumptuous sofas, wood burning stove and picture perfect window seat. Cuddle up and enjoy cosy evenings spent watching the Freeview ready TV, or enjoying the complimentary selection of books and games.
Eating is a delightful experience, seated around the solid wood dining table, nestled between the kitchen and living area. If the sun is shining, fling open the French doors and enjoy al fresco dining on the huge patio area with its own teak dining table.
The open plan kitchen looks beautiful with its top quality granite and oak fittings. A well equipped space, with a large range cooker and a traditional butler sink, this kitchen is loaded with charm. Well proportioned and practical, the kitchen is perfect for catering for larger parties. Even the crockery is top notch, having been supplied by local Presteigne based Brixton Pottery. Just another little extra that adds to the charm of this gorgeous home.
The Eco Cottage sleeps between six to eight guests, in comfortable three bedroom accommodation. To the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a kingsize bed. Warm and cosy, this room has stunning views, and French doors that lead out onto the oak decking, as well as it’s very own luxury en-suite bathroom.

A kingsize room can be converted into two singles on request to suit your requirements, or you can opt to spend your nights in the stunning, hand made, Norwegian bed frame, perfect for children and adults alike.
