Tucked away in a private apple orchard on a working North Devon farm, this gorgeous shepherd’s hut is a dreamy wellness retreat for two, complete with its own glass-fronted sauna, outdoor rainfall shower and beautiful copper bath. Spend lazy days switching between the heat of the sauna and a refreshing cold soak, before settling beside the firepit as darkness falls. And with Instow Beach just a mile away, you can combine peaceful countryside living with days beside the sea.
Inside, the beautifully crafted hut is cosy, characterful and cleverly designed. The open-plan space has a comfy double bed where you can wake slowly to the peace of the orchard, while a breakfast bar provides a lovely spot for morning coffee or a relaxed bite to eat. The kitchenette is equipped with an Everhot cooker, electric hob and fridge, so you can rustle up breakfast before heading to the beach or prepare an easy supper after a day exploring the coast. There’s also a stylish shower room with a shower, WC and heated towel rail.
