You'll be excited before you even step foot inside the Lookout Treehouse as you venture across a private rope-bridge, hung high amongst the tree canopy to access your private getaway hidden up amongst the leaves. With a gorgeous, wooden interior, a cosy wood burner, and a spacious outdoor deck kitted out with a private jacuzzi bath, as well as amazing views out across Dartmoor, the Lookout Treehouse is the perfect romantic couple's retreat.
The fantastic treehouse was constructed from a combination of locally grown and reclaimed timber and has been built and furnished with guests' comfort in mind. You can lounge on the comfy sofa with a good book, chosen from the collection on offer at the treehouse, as your loved one adds a new log to the warming wood burner. Or why not grab one of the board games and challenge your partner to a game?
The treehouse's wooden floors and walls add to the rustic feel, and the huge, wall-to-wall bi-folding doors let in views of the trees, offering a constant reminder of your wonderful woodland surroundings. In summer, slide open these doors and let the outside in or step out onto the private deck where you can enjoy a nice drink as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the wood. Also outside is the luxurious jacuzzi bath tub. Grab a bottle of bubbly and sink in for a relaxing soak as you look out across the tree canopy and beyond to the magnificent hills and tors of Dartmoor National Park.
Stepping back inside the treehouse, the fab kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need to whip up delicious meals and hearty breakfasts throughout your stay. Meals can be enjoyed on the dining table inside that offers yet more stunning views or alfresco on the deck. When bedtime rolls around, the comfy, cosy king size bed will guarantee you a fab night's sleep and you can wake to lovely views out across the trees. To ensure maximum comfort, the owners use quality bed linen and down duvets and pillows.
You may wish to spend all your time relaxing back at the treehouse, but if you do venture out, there is lots to see and do in the local area. You can choose to remain in the quaint, peaceful surrounding wood, exploring the winding pathways that take you down to the river's edge. There are also a number of nice BBQ and picnic areas dotted amongst the trees that are shared with guests staying at other treehouses nearby. If you wish to head slightly further afield, then Dartmoor National Park is very close by, and you're also able to drive to the lovely North Devon and Cornwall coast.

All prices are based on two adults per treehouse. Changeover days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Minimum two-night stay midweek and three-night minimum weekend.
