Immersed in the historic New Forest, The Lodge is the ultimate woodland retreat. With a freestanding bathtub, gorgeous views of the leafy greenery, a swimming pool and a fireplace, this property is fantastically relaxing all year round. With striking interior design, this home is finished to perfection with a teal-painted living room, sumptuous mustard-yellow armchair and smooth kitchen cabinets. Children and dogs alike are welcome, rendering this the perfect extended family retreat.
Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, The Lodge is a sociable, spacious family home. The living room’s details work around a mustard and purple colour pallet, inundated with throws, a geometric rug and three sofas to enjoy an afternoon nap or an evening tipple alike. With stacks of books and games guaranteed to keep the little ones occupied, the folding glass doors both welcome in the afternoon sun and create an open, airy route between the house and the garden. WiFi, a Sky TV and an Xbox are also included.
Downstairs, there is a king-sized bedroom leading out onto the back garden, a bathroom, a utility room and a nook apt for enjoying bistro-style suppers. In the kitchen, the beautifully finished round table seats eight, with the hallway table adding an element of variety. The kitchen hosts an oven with a five-gas hob, a fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, Krups Coffee Nespresso Machine and a microwave. Upstairs, all three bedrooms display inimitable views of the New Forest greenery, with the master bedroom hosting a travel cot for a little one. The children’s twin room hosts toys and games alike to keep the younger troops occupied on a rainy day, and the blue room similarly boasts poolside views and snapshots of leafy greenery. The upstairs bathroom is furnished with a freestanding bathtub and a large power shower with smart, seamless glass doors.
The local area offers endless possibilities, hosting the New Forest National Park, St Barbe Museum and Gallery and Brockenhurst, the most populated village in the New Forest. Guests can enjoy afternoon tea or a picnic alike at Exbury Gardens, featuring the equally impressive Exbury Steam Railway. Further afield at Milford On Sea lies Hurst Castle, an artillery fortress established by Henry VIII in the 1500s.

Please expect our short stays to be 60%+ of our weekly prices. We are not a hotel and it takes a huge amount of work, especially with COVID around, to make the house clean and right for guests. Kids in travel cots stay free.
The prices above give a guide only. In peak season the price can be higher than the 'to' price shown here. We use a dynamic pricing structure which means prices can fluctuate slightly on a daily basis. Pricing depends on demand for this house and across the area. We cannot guarantee the prices quoted today will be the same in the future.
Min 2 nights in off peak and low season and 3 nights plus in peak season. In summer holidays the min stay is 7 nights.
