- Sleeping up to 22 guests, your group will have exclusive use of the house and the surrounding grounds. Well-behaved pets are permitted.

- The Cotswolds are just 10 miles from the island, and Oxford 11, so exploring the local area will be easy. You could also arrange water-skiing lessons from the park directly, or have a treatment at the neighbouring Waterside Therapy Rooms.
You should know
- You cannot do watersports on the lake you're staying on, but you can enjoy watersports activities at Hardwick Watersports nearby.
- Check in between 4-6pm, check out by 10am.
- Guests driving the boat must be over 25, provide full details for insurance purposes, and watch a short safety video before accessing the island.
- Please note that the owners do not own the lake, so you will have access to the crossing-route only.

Perfectly positioned in-between bustling Oxford and the scenic Cotswolds, you’ll discover The Island in Oxfordshire a beautiful holiday home situated on a pretty lake.
Just hop on board one of two motorboats provided (your nominated captains must be over 25 and hold a valid car drivers license) and take the two-minute journey across to the island – a glorious way to mark the beginning of a holiday! And if you wish to venture out and explore the local area, Hardwick Parks, Hardwick Watersports and Waterside Therapy Room & Linear Fisheries are all nearby.
Once on The Island you’ll find an array of delights that include an Arctic spa hot tub, a barbecue and pizza oven, a table tennis table and the quirky ‘Wonky’ Bar!
Accommodating up to 22 guests, this is an ideal setting for a fun and relaxed break with much-loved friends and family, without anyone having to miss out including your well-behaved pets!
Choose from 8 bedrooms, cosy doubles or twin rooms, and a wondrous ‘dorm’-style room for big and little kids alike featuring sleeping for 8, your scene is set for an epic giggly sleepover!

Since you’re in an area with no light pollution, you can also expect to catch sight of the most awe-inspiring sunsets, not to mention a blanket of softly-twinkling stars. What to do with the rest of the day? If you’ve been feeling inspired, you can arrange water-skiing lessons with the park, or fish directly from the island. If you’re in the mood for a little extra indulgence, you could even treat yourselves to exclusive use of the salon at the neighbouring Waterside Therapy Rooms.
There’s plenty of scope to explore further afield, too. The dreaming spires of Oxford are a mere 11 miles away, and the Cotswolds 10 miles… just choose your favourite direction, and you’re away.
