The Hideaway is a beautifully designed and stylishly furnished home-from-home nestled between Windermere and Troutbeck Bridge in the stunning surroundings of the Lake District. Sleeping six adults and three children, the high-end facilities and top-quality finishes make this comfortable home the perfect choice for a luxurious getaway for family and friends.

The welcoming entry hall leads into a light, spacious dining room which is the perfect place to relax and dine with family and friends. In the sunny summer months why not throw open the patio doors and take your dining alfresco for a BBQ on the terrace? At the rear you’ll find the snug, a cosy space with a comfy corner sofa and huge cinema TV, where you can curl up with some popcorn to watch your favourite films on Netflix.

Beyond the snug, discover the luxurious kitchen, which is a beautiful, light and modern space fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Sit down at the breakfast bar and enjoy a frothy coffee with the brand-new coffee machine and Starbucks pods while enjoying the view from the window as you plan your day’s adventures.

The orangery provides the ultimate wow-factor. As you enter this light and airy room, the space unfolds before you. This stunning area oozes luxury with touches of Scandi-living. Relax in a cosy armchair with a good book and enjoy views of the garden, or stretch out on the cosy corner sofa in front of the modern fireplace – the perfect place to spend the evening playing board games and relaxing with your family. Beyond the orangery is the fully equipped utility room and you will also find a handy shower and loo.

Upstairs, off the spacious landing, you will find the bedrooms. The kids’ bedroom comes complete with a huge triple bunk-bed (only suitable for children) and is a haven for all your little ones’ holiday needs. Two pushchairs, two highchairs, a travel cot, a baby-carrier rucksack and a nappy bin are all available for your use during your stay.

There are a further two sumptuous bedrooms with enviable views of the green beyond. One double and one twin, both of these rooms are designed with chic Scandi-style furnishings and fabrics in calm, neutral tones. A stunning bathroom complete with complimentary Rituals toiletries and fluffy towels adds a spa-like touch of class. The master suite is another gorgeous room with soft beige tones, boasting its own gleaming ensuite bathroom complete with a separate bath and walk-in shower. Enjoy the cosy peace and quiet of this room, as the morning sun filters in through the window.

The garden is a secluded space enveloped by hedges and is a true haven for wildlife. On a summer’s day, stroll amongst the colourful flowers, or simply enjoy a chilled bottle of wine out on the terrace, taking in the sunset. Children will adore this garden, with playground equipment and a box full of garden toys located in the garden shed. There is plenty of space to scamper about, while in the wetter months a delightful beck wends its way through the end of the garden, perfect for spotting fish and insects. Whether you’re chilling out on the sociable terrace area with outside sofa and fire pit table, cooking up a storm on the BBQ or relaxing in the hot tub, it’s the perfect venue for those who love entertaining.

From delicious regional fare to exciting water sports adventures, Windermere and Bowness will provide a wealth of activities to keep you entertained. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists and the picture-perfect villages of Grasmere and Ambleside are on your doorstep.
