With its high-end interiors, luxury furnishings and solid wood structure, The Grand Barn in North Yorkshire is a real treat for up to eight guests to stay in, with space for an additional two if required. Every detail has been meticulously thought of to ensure its inhabitants are not only surrounded by stunning interior design, but are cosy, comfortable and able to feel right at home. Perfect for groups of friends or family gatherings, the barn lends itself well to sociable living, with four glorious super-king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, alongside the Sack Store annex, which is an optional extra with another ensuite bedroom. When it comes to socialising, the large, fully-equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances is ideal for big breakfasts and dinners in style. Plus, thanks to its excellent location, visitors can get to the historic city of York in a short drive, with plenty of more rural sites to be found nearby, too.
Upon entry to The Grand Barn, guests are greeted by a snug, oak-framed living area, complete with heritage-style seating, warming soft furnishings and a log-burner to keep everyone nice and toasty in the colder months. The large island kitchen's layout begs for a social gathering, involving some joyous cooking and a couple of drinks, while the dining table is suitable for all to sit down and tuck into a lovely meal together.
An outdoor patio can be accessed through the French doors off the kitchen, with dining furniture and a BBQ for al fresco meals in summer. Upstairs, a second living area can be found, with comfy leather sofas and a big screen TV for movie nights in. Eight guests are accommodated in four bedrooms, each graced by a super-king bed (two of these can be split into twins on request), as well as a luxury ensuite bathroom with striking interiors and deluxe fittings. Four of the bedrooms are in the barn itself, whilst a further two guests can take advantage of the 'Sack Store' annex which is an optional add-on with its own deluxe king size ensuite bedroom.

So many special memories were created at The Grand Barn for my 30th birthday celebrations. The booking process was easy with great communication throughout. On the day of arrival, we received a warm welcome from Brigita who took the time to provide information about the local area including local walks, recommendations from the local restaurant and how to travel to York if we wished. The parking was great as our party of 10 travelled in a number of separate cars. The accommodation itself is absolutely beautiful with an open space which created the perfect place for friends and family to catch up and celebrate. I would 100% recommend a stay here! Thank you again.
