Step through the front door into the impressive hallway, where floor-to-ceiling glass fills the space with natural light. The huge open-plan kitchen and living area is the real heart of the barn, giving the whole group somewhere to gather from breakfast until bedtime. Cook up a feast in the superbly equipped kitchen, which has two ovens, an induction hob, dishwasher, warming drawer and sociable central island, before sitting down together around the dining table for 12. Afterwards, sink into the generous sofa and put something on the enormous 75-inch Smart TV.
When it’s time to turn in, there’s plenty of flexibility for families and multi-generational groups. A ground-floor bedroom has a king size bed and 43-inch Smart TV, with a shower room conveniently positioned across the hallway. Upstairs, the spacious landing offers wonderful views across the Wye Valley and leads to the remaining bedrooms. The family suite combines a king size bed and two singles with its own ensuite, while another room has twin single beds. There’s also a peaceful king size bedroom and an impressive master bedroom with a super-king size bed and private ensuite.
